Hi Everyone, It has been really nice catching up with everyone. Can't wait to see all of you at the reunion. I am in charge of tracking down our missing classmates. The list is still very long. I have a myspace account the URL is patti629. I have posted the list of missing classmates. If any of you are in touch with these people or know someone that is please let me know. I don't want anyone to feel left out because, they didn't get an invitation. I have posted fliers and put an announcement in the Picayune Item. I have even called every number I could find online in the white pages in every state. Any other ideas will be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help with this task. I MUST SAY HOW NICE EVERYTHING IS TURNING OUT. THE PEOPLE WHO ARE IN CHARGE IS AND DOING A FINE JOB. YOU ALL CAME TOGETHER TO MAKE THIS EVENT A SUCESS. IT WAS GOOD TO HERE FROM ALL CLASSMATES WHO LOG ON. THE LORD HAS BEEN GOOD TO ALL IN ONE WAY OR ANOTHER. WE ALL NEED THANK HIM FOR 20 YRS. WE ARE NOT OLD JUST LITTLE WISER. It's been great catching up with everyone! Please help spread the word and provide any classmate addresses you may have. Just to bring everybody up-to-speed on what the committee has been up to - in case you are interested: We looked into several locations/venues for the reunion events. Contenders for the big event on Saturday included Hide-A-Way, The Cynthia, Margaritaville and many others. Some locations didn't respond to our requests for information, some were a little pricey, some were not available - when it was put to a vote, the Northshore Harbor Center received the majority. NSHC offers a convenient location, great food and drink, and nice atmosphere. It will be fun! For the family event on Friday evening, we are still trying to find a suitable (and available) location with activities for all. If you have ideas, please submit them - you can use the guestbook or contact one of us directly. Look forward to seeing you and hearing from you! |
